In 1994, Dr. Jensen founded Especially Pets, and we’ll miss her dearly. We hope she enjoys the next chapter in her life.

She would like to leave her clients with these words:

Dear Valued Clients,

After 36 years of practicing my craft, the last 25 at my own clinic, Especially Pets, it is time for me to pass the torch. I will be retiring at the end of this October. My emotions are jumbled.

It has always been a privilege that you have trusted me with the healthcare of your four-legged companions. For some of you, the relationship is new. For many of you, we have been through “generations” of pets. My staff and I have enjoyed years of incredible experiences with you and your companions. We have also shared in some heartbreakers. I will truly miss all of you.

I am leaving you in the capable and compassionate hands of Dr. Ashley Ernstberger and Dr. Kristi Kantz. Dr. Ernstberger has been with us for 2 years. She has been doing most of the surgeries and all of the dentistries. She is a graduate of Purdue, born and raised in New Albany. Dr. Kantz graduated from Michigan State at the top of her class and brings 21 years of experience to the table. She will be joining us in October. My awesome support staff will still be here as well. Your pets and mine will still be receiving the personal care and service we have always strived to deliver.

Sincerely,
Dr. Luanne Jensen
